IP security cameras are digital cameras that transmit or receive data over the internet. IP cameras—like the ones offered by Interlogix—come with a wide range of features and technologies, so you can choose the right camera option for your specific security needs. IP cameras are available in both wired and wireless configurations. Wired IP security cameras connect to a Network Video Recorder (NVR) with a single Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cable, while stand-alone wireless IP cameras connect to your WiFi and record to an on-board microSD card.
